Montgomery County will recognize county employees for their service at today’s Montgomery County Commission meeting.

Human Resources Director Ashley Hand will be in attendance to recognize employees for their years of service. Also on the agenda, Public Works Director Brandon Beurskins will inform commissioners about the results of metal pipe bids and discuss bids for chemicals. There will also be a request from the Department of Corrections to purchase cuffs as well as a review of the request for proposals regarding inmate medical services. Greg Hennen with Four County Mental Health will also present that organization’s annual budget funding request.

Today’s meeting begins at 9am in the Commission Room on the lower level of the Judicial Center in Independence. The meeting is open to the public and is also available for online viewing via the County’s Facebook page.
