An 18-year-old Sterling man is dead following a collision with a semi truck in central Kansas.

 

Nathaniel Dold died yesterday evening when his vehicle crossed the center line on K-156 just northeast of Ellsworth and struck the semi. The accident occurred around 7pm.

 

Dold was a senior at Lyons High School and was scheduled to graduate on Sunday.

 

The driver of the semi truck, identified as 58-year-old Noel Schilling of Morrill, Kansas, sustained minor injuries and was taken to the Ellsworth County Hospital for treatment.
