Warm weather means allergy season to many people.
As the trees and plants begin to bloom, many people are plagued by seasonal allergies. According to the CDC, 1 in 3 adults and 1in 4 kids suffer from seasonal allergies, but there are some things sufferers can do to lessen the severity of symptoms. Dr. Ravi Johar with United Healthcare says one of the best preventatives is to avoid the source of the allergens.
For those still struggling with symptoms, Johar says there are some good over-the-counter medications that may help.
If symptoms continue to worsen, Johar says you should visit your personal healthcare provider.
