Three New CPD Officers Sworn in

Three new officers are sworn-in to the Coffeyville Police Department. Police Chief Kwin Bromley says officers Tori Johnson, Leslie Rios and Tyler Stryd have all relocated to Coffeyville from different parts of the country.

Chief Bromley says candidates have to take a written aptitude test and a physical agility test, then go through an interview process, go on a ride-along, and go through three background checks before going through the police academy.

Mayor Deborah Maples swore in all three officers alongside their families. Officer Johnson was joined by her father, Gary Johnson, Officer Rios by her daughter, Mia Rios and Officer Stryd by his wife, Billie Stryd.
