Travelers on US-400 between southeast Kansas and Wichita may need to do a bit a pre-planning when it comes to stops for the next couple of days.

 

The Kansas Department of Transportation says the rest area on US-400 near Beaumont will be closed for maintenance today and tomorrow. Both the building and the parking lot at the facility will be closed.

 

KDOT says the rest area will reopen on Friday.
