One person is dead and two others are injured following a crash on I-70 west of Topeka.
The accident occurred in Wabaunsee County around 11:15 yesterday morning, when a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by 64-year-old Kimberly Terhune of Maple Hill, KS, was traveling westbound on the Interstate. The vehicle crossed the median into the Eastbound lanes of I-70 where it struck an oncoming pickup truck. The driver of the truck – 73-year-old Mark Robb of Manhattan sustained a minor injury while his passenger – 75-year-old Judith Robb – was seriously injured. Both were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment
Terhune sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
