A 26-year-old man is injured in a car crash near Neosho.
Newton County deputies, Neosho Rural Fire, and Newton County Ambulance responded to a rollover crash on Old Scenic Drive near Shoal Creek near Neosho on Monday afternoon. The accident occurred around 4pm when a southbound Nissan Xterra left the roadway to the right, overcorrected, and then left the roadway to the left, before striking a fence and overturning.
The driver, Rhett Griggs of Pierce City, Missouri, was taken to a Joplin hospital with minor injuries and was also cited for DWI.
