Memorial Day is coming up on May 26 and that means Kansans will be hitting the road and marking the holiday with family and friends.
Montgomery County Sheriff Ron Wade reminds drivers and passengers to buckle up and drive safely during the holiday travel season. Beginning on May 18, Montgomery County Deputies will be out in force with h increased enforcement, looking specifically for unrestrained drivers, passengers, and children.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office will be ticketing and educating violators of adult seat belt and child safety laws, as well as enforcing other traffic regulations. Sheriff Wade urges all drivers to obey the law to ensure everyone arrives safely at their destinations.
