Tempers flare at this week's Nowata County Commission meeting.

 

Tensions rose in Monday's meeting when Mike Bell of Bellco Trucking asked the board why his bid wasn't awarded for loading and hauling miscellaneous materials. Chairman Paul Crupper says there was a reason for the denial.

 

Also at this week's meeting, commissioners discussed the latest courthouse improvements involving electrical maintenance.

 

Commissioners also approved a license agreement with the Public Service Company of Oklahoma .

 

Nowata County Emergency Manager Laurie Summers also announced that there will be more damage assessment from the recent floods
