A light agenda in the Caney USD436 School Board sees the renewing of the food service agreement with Opaa Food Management.

 Rick Stephens, Director of Nutrition Services, also known to students as Grandpa Rick, Uncle Rick, or Cafeteria Dude, was on-hand to answer questions and receive feedback from board members. Superintendent Blake Vargas says the district is pleased to continue working with Mr. Stephens, his team, and Opaa.

 In other business, the board approved the retirement of Cathy Estes and approved the hiring of Michael Jones as CVHS Custodian and Harold Aiken as district custodian.
