An early morning crash on the Broken Arrow Expressway in the Tulsa metro area leaves a motorcyclist dead.

 

The crash occurred around 1am this morning. Police officers report that the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it struck another vehicle. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

The accident shut down the eastbound lanes of the highway for a time, but traffic has since been restored in the area.

 

The name of the motorcyclist has not yet been released.
