The USD 447 Cherryvale-Thayer School Board will meet tonight and one topic of discussion will be the purchase of HVAC equipment for Lincoln Central.

 

The replacement of the HVAC system at the school is scheduled to begin during the summer of 2026, but the School Board has been advised that purchasing the materials now will give the district a substantial savings. The cost is estimated at $170,000.

 

The Board will also consider the replacement of student Chromebooks as well as staff work stations. District Director of Technology Devon Hestand will appear before the Board to discuss bids and answer questions.

 

Tonight’s meeting begins at 7pm and will be held at the USD 447 Central Office, located at 618 East 4th Street in Cherryvale. The meeting is open to the public.
