The Montgomery County Commission is set to meet today with bridges, bids and juvenile corrections on the agenda.
At today’s meeting, Public Works Director Brandon Beurskins will be on hand to discuss applications for a program for bridges in the county. Also up for discussion will be the submission of bids to purchase new bunker gear for Rural Fire. Melissa Johnson with the Montgomery County Action Council is also scheduled to speak as is Kenneth Fecke, who will present the quarterly report from Juvenile Services.
There will also be a discussion about a temporary position in the County Clerk’s Office.
Today’s meeting begins at 9am in the Commission Room on the lower level of the Judicial Center in Independence. The meeting is open to the public and is also available for viewing online via the County’s Facebook page.
