A weekend house fire leaves one person dead in Collinsville.

Fire crews from Collinsville Rural Fire and Owasso Fire responded to the call early Sunday morning. Reports indicated that a two-story house north of Highway 20 near Collinsville had caught fire. The Oklahoma State Fire Marshal’s Office has confirmed that one person perished in the blaze. The victim’s name has not yet been released and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
