Independence Community College agrees to a continuing deal for campus security services.

 

At this month's ICC Board of Trustees meeting, board members were asked to consider renewing a contract with Eagle Security Services of Coffeyville. College President Dr. Jonathan Sadhoo says the new contract with the company would cover a 24-month period.

 

Sadhoo adds that agreeing to a longer term contract is more cost-effective.

 

Trustees voted unanimously to approve the contract. In other business, ICC Marketing Director Kris Ferguson was appointed as the new Board Clerk and approval was given to begin the search for a full-time faculty instructor for the Industrial Maintenance and Technology Program.
