ICC Board of Trustees to Meet Tonight

The Board of Trustees for Independence Community College will meet tonight for a specially scheduled meeting due to travel conflicts of some board members on their usual meeting night.

The Board will consider a light agenda at tonight's meeting that includes the appointment of a new Board Clerk for the 2025-26 year. Trustees will also discuss a possible agreement with Eagle Security Services of Coffeyville to provide security patrols on the ICC main campus and ICC West facilities as well as for ICC athletic events. The cost is expected to be $45,000 per year for a two year contract.

The Board is also expected to consider the establishment of a new faculty position for the Industrial Maintenance and Technology program.

Tonight's meeting begins at 5:30 in the Fab Lab building on the ICC main campus. The meeting is open to the public.
