Roads in Nowata County remain closed after recent rains and flooding have left roads damaged.

Speaking to the Nowata County Commission, Emergency Management Director Laurie Summers says they'll need additional funding to help with the damage.

Nowata County made an emergency declaration during last week's meeting. In other business, the commission discussed courthouse improvements including electrical maintenance and doors inside the building.
