The Montgomery County Commission is set to hear from the Chambers of Commerce of Independence and Coffeyville.

 

At today’s meeting, Candi Westbrook of the Coffeyville Area Chamber and Lisa Wilson of the Independence Chamber will each present quarterly reports to commissioners, detailing the current goings-on in their respective cities.

 

Also on today’s agenda will be Public Works Director Brandon Beurskins with a review of hay harvesting bids for the county landfill and a review of bids for paint striping on county roads.

 

Today’s meeting begins at 9am in the Commission Room on the lower level of the Judicial Center in Independence. The public is invited to attend in person or to view the meeting online via the County’s Facebook page.
