Members of the Cherryvale Chamber of Commerce say good things are happening in town.
Treasurer Carol Staton shared an update with the Montgomery County Commission this week since the tourism money received from the county now comes to the chamber instead of the city.
Staton says the chamber has been growing.
Staton also says the Cherryvale Museum had more than 600 visitors from 18 different states and three countries last year. She says they're on a good track this year as well.
The Cherry Blossom Festival is coming up May 15th through 17th and is expected to bring more visitors into town. Staton also says that the current welcome signs will be repainted with a new design at the end of May.
