Two Field Kindley High School seniors bring home gold medals from the State SkillsUSA conference.

Seniors Destiny Peyton and Brieanna Shaffer attended the State conference in Hutchinson last weekend, and competed in a two day Video Production contest. They had four hours to story board and shoot footage on day one for a 60 second video over the conference theme, Ignite Your Potential. Day two they were given four hours to video and then four hours to edit their clips to 60 seconds.

Adviser Beth Conrad says Destiny and Brie worked great together and in the end were rewarded for their efforts. Gold medal winners earn the right to compete at the National contest the last week of June in Atlanta, Georgia, but due to the cost and short deadline to pay the registration fees, they will be unable to attend.
