As rain continues to fall, Onion Creek is now flooding where it crosses Overlook (CR4500) just southwest of Coffeyville.

As of 11:40 this morning, the area has not been blocked off, but the area is flood prone and multiple signs warn to not enter the area during flooding. At this point, anyone needing to access the area must use an alternate route. As rain continues, many area low-water crossings are flooding, and drivers should exercise caution and turn around if you encounter flooding roadways.  A flood watch remains in effect for the four-state area through tomorrow morning.
