Grant funding from the City of Coffeyville is set to help bring a new event center to the downtown area.

 

The City of Coffeyville has awarded a $20,000 Downtown Revitalization Grant to help pay for exterior improvements to the building located at 811 South Maple Street. The building is owned by Coffeyville residents Aaron and Peggy Titus, and the couple is currently working to turn the building into the Titus Event Center. The Tituses have hopes of creating a new venue that would host musical performances, community gatherings and other special events in downtown Coffeyville.

 

The Titus Event Center is set to open sometime this year.
