Authorities in Allen County nab a fleeing suspect.

Allen County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a home invasion in progress yesterday at a property five miles north of Iola. By the time deputies arrived on scene, the suspect had already fled in a vehicle. However, law enforcement was able to locate the suspect's vehicle just north of the Allen/Anderson County line and take the individual into custody without further incident.

33-year-old Rian Young of Osawatomie was taken into custody and booked into the Allen County Jail on two counts of criminal trespassing.
