An online fundraiser is underway for the family of a 9-year-old Commerce boy killed last week in a UTV accident in Ottawa County.
Easton Freeman was a pedestrian and was struck the UTV last Tuesday. The boy was taken via Med Flight to a Tulsa hospital where he later died from his injuries. His family says Easton was a loved member of the community and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. They are attempting to raise funds to help pay for Easton’s funeral along with other expenses.
The Commerce Public Schools, where Easton was a student,t released a statement last week, indicating that counselors would be available at the school for staff and students.
