***** Original Story *****
Severe storms are possible for the four-state area on Monday.
According to the National Weather Service, a few storms are possible late Monday and could bring damaging winds, large hail and a few tornadoes. If storms devlop, they would be more likely after 4 p.m. Southeast Kansas has the greatest risk of severe weather and Elk and northwest Montgomery county are currently on the southern edge of the greatest risk area. The forecast is likely to change as uncertainly remains, but the rest of the four-state KGGF listening area is currently in the "slight" risk category for severe weather. KGGF will provide updates as they are available and will provide severe weather coverage on the air if needed.
