A Coffeyville man faces charges of attempted first-degree murder following an incident that occurred early Tuesday morning.
Coffeyville Police have arrested 60-year-old Norman Starr in connection to the incident that occurred in the 300 block of West 3rd Street. Starr is accused of threatening a woman, pointing a gun at her, and firing the weapon several times. Police say bullets struck a nearby home that was occupied at the time.
Starr also faces charges of criminal discharge of a firearm, aggravated battery, and criminal threat. He is currently being held in the Montgomery County Jail in Independence.
