The Nowata County Commissioners discuss the wild weekend weather.

 

At Monday's meeting, County Emergency Management Director Laurie Summers discussed the damage with commissioners.

 

Summers also addressed during the meeting that the county would have to make a declaration in order to receive additional funding.

 

In other business, commissioners continued talks on improvements to the courthouse. The board addressed changing a fan on the outside of the courthouse, which would include a discussion with the Nowata County Historical Society.

 

The Nowata County Commissioners meet every Monday morning at 9 a.m. at the Nowata County Courthouse Annex.
