The City of Independence is getting ready to celebrate Arbor Day this Friday.

Chamber President Lisa Wilson says there will be lots of activities to enjoy.

The Arbor Day celebration takes place at Riverside Park in the Indoor 4-H building. There will be community booths, educational activities, and arts and crafts for attendees to enjoy. The event happens Friday evening from 5:30 to 7 in Independence.
