The weekend rains didn't cancel the Easter fun, it just postponed it.

The City of Independence has rescheduled the city Easter Egg Hunt for 4pm this afternoon. Eggs will be hidden in various locations around Riverside Park. Parents and kids are invited to head out to Riverside Park this afternoon to hunt for eggs at their own pace.

The independence Easter egg hunt is sponsored by the Independence Rotary Club.
