Spring cleanup is underway in Neodesha.

All this week, residents can drop off items including building materials, metal, wood, furniture, household trash, paint, electronics, TVs and appliances at the City Shop at 1200 W Granby. Drop off times through Friday are between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday drop off will be 8 a.m. to noon.

The brush dump will be open at 5249 Quinter Road for brush and leaves. Any bagged leaves must be opened and the bags taken with you. While the deadline for pick-up service has passed for regular items, tires will be accepted through Friday at the City Shop. To drop off tires, first go to City Hall and pay for the disposal and then bring the receipt with you. Car and truck tires are $2 and $4 if they have a rim. Semi tires are $7 and $10 with the rim.
