Two juvenile males are in custody in Barry County, Mo, in connection to a recent string of burglaries.

Early last week the Barry County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a vehicle suspect in several burglaries. The car had been stolen from the Monett, MO, area and deputies began looking for the vehicle. The 2019 Hyundai was eventually located in a church parking lot in Pierce City, MO. When deputies attempted to make contact with the occupants, they fled the scene. After a brief chase, the suspects ran off the road, disabling the vehicle. The two males were taken into custody without further incident.

Both boys were released into the custody of their parents.
