A Eureka man is dead following a single-vehicle crash on Friday morning in Greenwood County.

64-year-old Curk Creed was driving a concrete truck southbound on US-99 just north of Severy around 9am on Friday when his vehicle went off the road to the right. Creed attempted to bring the vehicle back onto the roadway, but overcorrected. The truck then tipped onto its side, coming to rest in the ditch.

Creed was pronounced deceased at the scene.
