Independence is set to celebrate the town's baseball history this month.
Chamber President Lisa Wilson says there will be a special baseball event coming up in just a couple of weeks.
Wilson says one of the events that day will be a 10:30am baseball history walk.
There will also be an afternoon history presentation by Ken Brown, plus free train rides, carousel rides, and mini golf at Riverside Park. The celebration takes place on April 26.
