A Bartlesville woman is facing a felony charge after being in possession of drugs inside the Washington County Correctional Center.
28-year-old Xena Hedges was charged with bringing contraband into a jail. According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, Hedges was in a pod within the correctional center with other inmates where fentanyl was present. The substance was in Hedges' bunk area. When police got involved in the situation, she said that she had fentanyl in her mouth and that she had flushed it. Officers located a white, powdery substance during a search of the pod.
Hedges will appear in court again on May 2nd at 9:00am. Her bond is set at $50,000.
