Public Works to be the Focus of Today's Montgomery County Commission Meeting

 

The Montgomery County Commission is set to meet this morning and the focus will once again be on Public Works.

 

County Public Works Director Brandon Beurskins will be on hand to discuss an award letter regarding the High Risk Rural Roads Program and to discuss the low-water crossing on County Road 6200. Beurskins will also address two programs aimed at work on bridges in the county as well as requesting the approval of several bids for equipment and supplies.

 

Also at today’s meeting will be the Election Canvas for the USD 436 Caney School Bond Election.

 

The meeting begins at 9am in the Commission Room on the lower level of the Judicial Center in Independence. It is open to the public and available for online viewing via the County’s Facebook page.
