Coffeyville Municipal Light & Power receives three prestigious national honors from the American Public Power Association for providing safe, reliable, and efficient electric service.

 The Reliable Public Power Provider Platinum, or RP3 designation, is awarded to utilities that demonstrate excellence in reliability, safety, workforce development, and system improvement.

 CMLP was recognized for delivering reliability, with a reliability rate of 99.998% in 2024. On average, CMLP customers experienced just 10.13 minutes of power outage time over the entire year—compared to a national average of 149 minutes.

 Executive Director of CMLP Chris Weiner says the awards are a testament to the dedication and expertise of the entire team, and they are proud to be recognized at the national level and remain committed to delivering reliable and safe power to the Coffeyville community.
