After a successful Junior Advisory Council Steer and Heifer Jackpot, another event is coming to the fairgrounds in Coffeyville this weekend.
The Kansas High School Rodeo will feature contestants from across Kansas, Nebraska,
Missouri, Colorado and Oklahoma meeting in Coffeyville this weekend to compete.
Coffeyville Tourism Director Wyatt Starnes says the event is organized by the Kansas High School Rodeo Association and it's an honor for Coffeyville to be selected again this year.
The rodeo is free to the public and concessions will be available on site. Events start Saturday at 10 a.m. and Sunday at 9 a.m.
A cowboy prom will take place Saturday night at 7, and cowboy church will be Sunday morning at 8 a.m.
KGGF microphones will be there during Open Line on Saturday from 9 to 11 bringing you a taste of the event as well.
