USD 445 Coffeyville will hold a Johnson-O'Malley Parent Committee and Title 6 Indian Education Parent Committee next week.

 

The meeting will take place next Wednesday, April 16, 2025, in the library at Field Kindley High School. The J-O-M meeting will begin at 6pm with the Title 6 parent meeting to follow at 6:30. The mission of Indian Education is to help meet the academic needs of American Indians. One of the most important parts of this mission is parent involvement.

 

To serve on the Title 6 Parent Committee or the J-O-M Committee, an individual must be the parent or guardian of a Title 6 or J-O-M verified child. USD 445 school board members, school administrators and employees, and Cherokee Nation personnel with signature authority over Title 6 contracts or the spouses of any of these individuals are not eligible to serve.
