The Coffeyville City Commission is set to meet tonight with the approval of several city contracts on the agenda.
At tonight's meeting, commissioners are expected to approve contracts for the relocation of a sewer line on Wilcox Street at the request of Evergy to allow for the construction of a new substation. Also on the agenda is a real estate contract to purchase property near the Water Treatment Plant for the purpose of replacing several water lines in the are with two, larger water mains in an attempt to prevent leaks. A third contract up for approval would a bid for the engineering design for a mill and overlay project on 8th Street from US-166 east to Elm Street.
Public Works is also expected to ask for approval to purchase several pieces of large equipment.
Tonight's meeting begins at 6:30 in the Commission Room at City Hall. The meeting is open to the public and is also available for online viewing via the City's YouTube channel.
