An Independence man faces charges of aggravated burglary and domestic battery.

On the evening of Friday, April 4, 2025, Independence Police were called to the 1500 block of West Laurel in response to reports of a man attempting to break into a home. When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered 35-year-old David Clem who was allegedly trying to force his way into a home. Clem was arrested and processed into the Montgomery County Jail.
