Bartlesville Woman Facing Drug Charges

A Bartlesville woman is facing multiple misdemeanor drug charges.

57-year-old Julie Sears was charged with unlawful possession of paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license, operating a vehicle without a proper tag, failing to maintain security or insurance and speeding. According to the Bartlesville Police Department, Sears was speeding between Bison Road and Minnesota Street on Friday around 6:00pm when police initiated a traffic stop. Sears told police that her license had been suspended and that she did not have proper insurance on the vehicle. There was also a positive K-9 alert and a search of the vehicle was executed. Sears told police that she had a meth pipe in her purse. Police found a glass pipe and noticed a white, crystalline substance in the pipe.

Sears will appear in court again on Wednesday at 9:00am. Her bond is set at $2,000.
