Montgomery County to Finish One Road Project While Prepping for Another

The Buckeye Street Project may be close to completion.

County Public Works Director Brandon Beurskins told commissioners at today's (yesterday's) County Commission meeting that the contractor has begun laying asphalt on the roadway. Beurskins adds that weather has been a major issue in completing the project, but that it looks like the project may soon be finished.

As the Buckeye project nears completion, the county is preparing for another overlay project on a major county road. Beurskins says the project will be a repaving of County Road 3900 that runs through Dearing from Independence.

Beurskins says that the project is set to begin sometime this summer and should be completed over the course of two to three weeks.
