A resurfacing project on US-400/166 in underway today in Cherokee County.

The Kansas Department of Transportation is resurfacing US-400/166 starting at the K-26 junction east of Baxter Springs and continuing south to the Kansas/Missouri line. Flaggers and pilot cars will be on scene to direct traffic through the construction zone with delays of 15 minutes or less expected.

The project is expected to be complete by mid-April.
