There is a problem with the traffic lights at the intersection of 4th and Cline in Coffeyville.
Coffeyville Municipal Light and Power is aware of the issue and says a new controller has been ordered and is expected to arrive by the end of next week. In the meantime, the light will be blinking red in all directions.
The Coffeyville Police Department will be patrolling the area near Community Elementary to help ensure safety.
In addition, the traffic light at the intersection of 8th and Willow was recently removed. The lights had been flashing red in all directions for several months as the intersection has been converted into a four-way stop.
