An Ark City woman is under arrest for the burglary of an Ark City sushi restaurant.

40-year-old Cassandra Simmons was taken into custody yesterday after Ark City Police determined she was the primary suspect in a break-in that occurred yesterday morning at the Ninja Sushi Steakhouse in Ark City. During her arrest, Simmons was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Simmons was booked into the Cowley County Jail in Winfield with a $8,500 bond.
