The Independence Dog Park on Park Boulevard will move to a new location temporarily due to construction on the Central Park Sports Complex.

 

Crews from Crossland Construction are working to install parking and access roads for the dog park and the future pickleball courts and batting cages.

 

During construction, the dog park will temporarily move to the 4-plex parking lot located north of the basketball courts. The west-gated area is for large dogs, while small dogs will be able to enjoy the east-gated area.

 

The dog park will reopen at its original location once construction is complete.
