A Chanute woman faces charges of drug possession and child endangerment following a traffic violation.

Chanute Police arrested 25-year-old Teaira Godfrey yesterday after responding to reports of a rolling domestic disturbance in a vehicle in the 1000 block of West Main Street in Chanute. Officers located Godfrey's vehicle on Ritter Avenue and interviewed the individuals discovered on the scene. Following an investigation, Godfrey was arrested on charges of distribution of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute drug paraphernalia, and endangering a child.

Charges are expected to be forwarded to the Neosho County Attorney's Office for review.
