Authorities in Lawrence County, Missouri, make an arrest in a weekend shooting.

 

The shooting occurred around 11pm on Sunday. Lawrence County Sheriff's Deputies were called to the scene in Aurora where they discovered a male victim with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was deceased when deputies arrived.

 

After an investigation, the suspect was found in nearby Greene County and taken into custody.

 

A request for formal charges has been filed with the Lawrence County Prosecutor's Office.
