A 21-year-old Fredonia man is killed in a late-night accident near Toronto Lake in Woodson County.

Hayden Green was traveling southbound on K-105 about three miles southeast of the City of Toronto in the overnight hours on Monday. His 2011 Chevy Impala crested a hill, causing Green to lose control of the vehicle. The car went into the ditch and struck a tree. The crash scene was not discovered until 7:30 yesterday morning. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, it is unclear as to exactly when the accident occurred.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
