Buckeye Project Remains in Limbo

The construction project on Buckeye in Coffeyville remains incomplete.

The project began last fall and was projected to be finished in December. Montgomery County Public Works Director Brandon Beurskins says the contractor tells him that asphalt should be in place this week, but he remains skeptical.

According to Montgomery County Public Works, the intersection of South Buckeye and James School Road or County Road 1450 will be closed starting today to allow for asphalt work. The intersection will be closed until the work is complete.
